"I will bear the name of Jesus Christ"

Isaac was baptized yesterday. He is now officially a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I am honored and humbled to be called your mother. You are a shining example to everyone that comes in contact with you.
I love how you will NEVER take a bite of food without Thanking the Lord first.
I love how you are kind to your friends. How you worry for them and their happiness.
I love that your favorite color is "GOLDEN"
I loved the smile across your face as you came from the waters of baptism.

Isaac and his buddy Matt had birthdays just a few days apart from each other. It was fun to share the day with him.

Grandma Gloria and Grandpa Ike wouldn't miss your special day.
We have many friends we call "family" here in Kansas City. Your "Uncle's" stood in the circle as you received the Holy Ghost.
Your sister Jordie and Matt's sister Hope sang for the program.
Your Primary teacher came to witness your special day.
Of course the Kanenwisher's were there.... We missed Boyd and Hunter... they were out of town but they were there in spirit!
Sam and Sariah were happy to be there!
The Aulner's came too... Wayne witnessed along with Grandpa. And Benny... well Benny wore his CTR tie from Ghana.
We were happy to see the Veigel's sneak in... Seriously how cute is this family!?!?! SO CUTE!

Up...Down

This one's for you Aunt Carol.

Noah boy has been a regular chatter bug the past few days. It is a rare moment where he will say Mama but when Buzz Lighyear is involved Noah will try almost anything... His newest words are Up and Down...

8 IS GREAT!

Where has my time gone? Just moments ago you were my baby boy...My tiny beach sandy blonde headed boy. You were born by c-section. Two days before you were born I mowed the grass and hand washed the car. You have a perfect nose.

We named you Isaac Marc.

After two men I love most.

You are my "peace" boy. You love others that some may find hard to love. I have learned how to be a better friend to others by watching you.
I love this picture of you. Not only are you happy but you hold my pink heart in your hand.
You are my boy that goes with the flow! Check out the candles... not only are they backwards but not one of them are the #8! But if you add them together 5+2+1 it = 8! And 8 is great!

Happy Happy Birthday Mr. Isaac.

Weight on Her Shoulders

Our call went well. Much better than I expected. 45 minutes. We talked of her children and grandchildren. We talked about the world she holds on her shoulders. It is a heavy world she holds. Please Pray for her.
She asked if we were ready for "PINKIE." She told us that "Pinkie" was a whoopsy. I said "I needed someone to have a whoopsy to help us get our "PINKIE."
Having FAITH in HIS plan.

The Phone will Ring...

We have a conference call scheduled with "Pinkie's" birth mom tomorrow. I am a ball of nerves. I have fears of being tongue tied. Will I be able to control myself. What am I to say to the woman who will give me her child to love and care for? We have never met Noah boys mama. Yet, I have a bond with her unlike any bond I have ever had. Just thinking about "Pinkie's" birth mom forms a lump in my throat. My heart skips a beat and my eyes well with tears. How am I ever going to keep it together?
Marc-a-Roni and I will be able to meet her in the hospital. When I see her will I know her? Will I be given another tender mercy to get a peek beyond my worldly sight? Will I remember her and I together in Heaven? I believe we have known each other before our earthly existence. I imagine she knew we would need a little help getting "Pinkie" to our family here on earth. I imagine she was willing to help us out.
It's hard not to have that nagging feeling in a small place of your heart saying "be careful, you may be hurt." It has happened before. Almost 2 years ago my world stopped spinning for a moment. But it was just for a moment because Our Father helped me get back up and brush myself off.
So if my world does stop spinning for a moment sometime in the next 7 weeks... Don't fret.... I'll be ok. Until "Pinkie" is in my arms I will walk tall with FAITH in His Plan.
{Our "Something Pink" has been changed to "PINKIE" thanks Nat!}

STAR light sTaR bRighT. 1st StaR I SEE Tonight. I wIsH I may I WiSh I MiGht, hAvE tHis WISH I WiSH TonIGhT.

I have lots and lots of wishes in my bucket. Most of the time I leave them there. "Stay Right Here in this Shiny bucket" I say to them. You see, IF I let too many of them out at one time I loose focus on what is really important... For example, If I let my "Wish I had my black Jeep Wrangler" out today... I would have wasted a whole tank of gas cruising around to no place special. So, I am careful for what I wish for.
I do have one wish tonight though... I can't wish it out loud or it may spoil. But I will give you a hint... It has to do with our "Something Pink"
I have never claimed to be patient... but I am trying to be. 7 weeks and counting!

Time to "Pay it Forward"

Dream Boys

Famous American

Mr. Isaac has worked extra hard on his famous American report. He studied Dr. Seuss. I was so proud of his efforts. He memorized he speech. He spoke clearly for the people listening.. The day of his presentation he dressed as Dr. Seuss himself dressed. He was trilled to find that all his efforts had produced the highest grade possible!
Congratulations my little scholar!

Feeling WICKED

Jordie and I played "hookie" last Wednesday. We went on a little road trip to Omaha. Just me and her... She and me... We dressed up pretty and were off to see WICKED. This pass year Jordie has been obsessed with the music. She LOVED the song "PoPuLaR" She knows every word. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more... watching the show or watching HER watch the show.

Grandma Gloria, When we saw a fountain filled with bronzed "HONKERS" we had to stop for a picture!

What girls trip would not be complete with out a purchase of a new hair accessory? Actually this one is for Miracle but until she is here... it will be put to good use!

I am a LUCKY mom to have a SPECIAL girl like you! I love you my Jordie Pordie!

For the record...

Prepping and Painting trim... Pulling up carpet and padding... Painting walls and Closets... Is TOO much work for 2 parent of 4 to do in such a short time... But it is complete and we are loving our much improved master room, dining room, and front room. Now I just have to get to the rest of the trim throughout the house. AHHHHH

Did I fail to mention... we put all our stuff in the garage... So each morning I would rummage to find something that matched to dress in...

Malnourished

When I was 16 I traveled to Peru and Bolivia with my Dad. I saw and experienced many things I will NEVER forget. One one particular outing we spent time visiting and orphanage. There were babies lying in cribs. Some, so small. You could practically see their skeleton. For some the malnourishment was so progressed they their belly's were bloated. It was such a site. So sad. I was taken into a room filled with beautiful babies. Babies full of life. Playing, smiling, eating. One would never guess that just a few weeks before they had been the babies crying of hunger.
I tell this tale of mine not to bring you down. Not to fill you full of worry. Please don't tell your children to eat everything on their plate. OR to think of the children in Africa starving. This will only create them to eat past their limit. They will become fatties who think that if they eat everything on their plate somehow it will feed hungry children. Not true people.
I tell you my tale because I feel as if I have allowed my little friend here, My baby blog to starve. I have not posted in days. Sorry my little bloggie poo... Fear not! I have many many stories to tell. In just a few short days the posts of my adventures will be complete and you will be a happy little blog again...

My baby birds have only 5 1/2 days left of school until they fly home to our nest for the summer. Isn't that exciting!
