When I was a child my Dad liked taking us on "self proclaimed" {FIELD TRIPS} Some were fun and full of adventure... Others... Full of adventure but not so fun...
Take for instance... A trip to White Castle... A TINY Square hamburger patty, punched with holes, grilled onion, on a teeny tiny bun... CREEPY...
Dale Spencer eating 15 of them... ADVENTURE!
Yesterday, without any advance thought Cheryl and I loaded the kids in the car and headed down to Crown Center. It was time for Bubba's first experience at Fritz's!
The food is terrible... But the adventure of your lunch being served by a train car...ADVENTURE!
And so it has started... A train crazed baby boy! "CHOO CHOO"

Oh boy.. do we love those adventures. :)
Look! He's my new best friend!
Jack about had heart failure because of his excitement! Fun Fun.
I would totally do it just for the experience too! even IF the food was terrible! Marked as one of the places we'll have to go when we finally get to Missouri! ;p
I think you might have a train engineer in your future. I've never seen a boy love the trains like Noah did!
And...the food wasn't too bad either...I was diggin' on my hot dog!
That looks like so much fun! My little guy would have loved it in his Thomas the Tank Engine phase. We actually went to Strasburg, PA to visit Thomas!
Also, love the family picture at the top of your blog!
I think that place is soooo fun! I guess I don't have a very educated tongue, not that I think the food is great but it works fine for burger and fries for me. Next time you do a field trip give us a call. Sariah would love to come!
Looks like a super fun place!!! Glad little Noah jumped on the train bandwagon.
so i saw you at Lola's, stopped by here on a blog hop--surprise, we're in KC, too.
(AND prone to field trips!)
i remember the train age, so much fun! we still have all our Brio and Thomas stuff.
i used to think it a bit silly, how people say "they grow up so fast," until we had our own! the days can be long, but the years are short when you have little ones.
How fun! My boys would love that place :)
