I started off my morning at 6am with these...
Ever heard of the Domino Effect? That's what is happening at the RitterB's. We are having carpet installed on Monday in the front room, dining room , Master Bedroom and Closet.
Our house doesn't feel new anymore. The trim needs to be painted. yuck. Do you have ANY idea how much freakin' trim we have here! IT IS EVERYWHERE! It doesn't stop... it feels endless. Marc and I have been burning the candle at both ends. We are beyond tired... We are exhasted. We don't feel 20 anymore. Maybe, Just Maybe that's because being 20 was almost 20 years ago!
I feel like my house looks like this.... The dining room set is in the garage. Our bedroom set is pushed to the middle of the room... Just for now. Since we painted the walls grey on MONDAY... The trim is next. We haven't even started on the front room. And our Closet? We have too many clothes... Too many shoes... Too many.... It's going to be downsized!
Did I mention we are doing all this with 3 extra of these?
Funny thing is... It is ALL good! While I am clean, moving, ripping, sanding, painting, aching... All I can think about is THIS!

Sorry about the stress the house is bringing. But, I'm sure it will be so fabulous...it will have all been worth it.

I'm not painting...yet but I understand the upside down feel of a home. Ours looks about like that picture and feeling old is so right where I live right now. Last night we finally got to bed before midnight and I almost feel human this morning.
PS I don't care how bad the allergies get, don't take a Benedryl.
Just think, when it's all done,IT'S going to look MAGNIFICENT. I just painted Dan's room just before he came home, the guest room and a bathroom,,,it's all worth while. I can help..call!
You should have put us to work this past weekend - we would have loved to help out...
