Seeing Double

I was one of the many women who stayed up Vampire hours to see the premiere of Twilight. I thought it was good. It followed the book really well. The cast was perfect in my opinion. Edwards hair... WOW! If only Marc-a-Roni had that much hair... Very cool.

I have a 9 year old daughter that knows very little about the book. But what she does know sends her into this pre-teen dreamland. So yesterday My mom, Melissa and I took her to her to see TWILIGHT! She was happy alright! Down right sweet! She loved the movie and called her cousin before we had left the parking lot. She said she loved everything except the ballet studio scene.

No matter how hard I try to keep my little girl a little girl she is growing up. I caught a glimpse of her teenage years. I am excited! I see that we will be best of friends!

I love doing stuff where the girls and I connect. We actually went to go watch Twilight last night. I was impressed with how well it actually followed the book. Can't wait for the next one!

It did follow the book really well. It was great. When I left I called one of my guy friends and he said that I should have asked him to go, he wanted to see it. Who would have thought! I thought it was a chick flick! I loved it! Glad ya'll had a good time.

I thought the movie was WAY better than the book. You didn't have to listen to all her whiney thoughts. I'd even see it again.

How come I knew you would be one of the diehards!! LOL You crack me up. So I read all 3 books last year Christmas and New Years. Got the set for my sister and she is way more into it than I ever could dream. She was in line for the last one but suprisingly enough hasn't seen the movie. She aching to but my other sister and I are dragging our feet. We haven't even read the last novel all the way through, so she had to tell me about it before my book club. Don't even say it, I know what you are thinking "BOOK CLUB JANICE!! WHAT ARE YOU NUTS??" So yeah I am.. but it got me reading so much more and now I'm all about books on CD 'cause of work (remember? the data entry thing at the post office? long boring hours but lots of reading time!)

Love you girl and you have to take some credit for the reason I got on...

Luv ya Luv ya Luv ya

I really enjoyed the movie as well. I took Tori out of school that day and we had a Mother daughter day. We went to an early matinee on Friday and then followed it up with a nice lunch at Olive Garden. We even had dessert, we had such a great time. I love that she was willing to spend time with me. She is 12 going on way too old. Hard to believe that your daughter is 9 now. Where does the time go?
